This weeks word of the days have been: ponder, scrutinise and ludicrous.
Ponder means to think deeply and carefully about something. E.G. Macbeth pondered how his wife would do such a preposterous thing.
Scrutinise means to look at something carefully. E.G. Macbeth scrutinised Macduff's army hiding in the woods. Ludicrous means extremely foolish, out of place and unreasonable. E.G. During one of Shakespeare's most beloved play, Macbeth turned from a hero to a ludicrous man.
In English we have been writing scripts for a scene in Macbeth. We have been working in groups and tomorrow we will preform our scene's. My group's scene is when Macbeth visits the witches for the second time. In the scene I am the narrator.
